The first thing you’ll like about this red is the re-usable glass enclosure—no corkscrew needed. The next things are the aromas and flavours. Spice-infused, black plum compote and dark berry fruit provide segue to a nicely paced and well-balanced river of dark cherry and plum interwoven with black currant flavours. It’s medium weight and nicely textured with a dry, fruity aftertaste. Great with grilled meat—burgers, steak or gourmet sausage. (Vic Harradine)
