• The following 2020 Domaine de la Présidente Côtes du Rhône Villages was sourced from a hand-picked red blend of 50% grenache/35% syrah/10% carignan/5% mourvèdre vines that are planted in limestone-clay soil with an average age of 10 to 30 years. The juice was macerated on skins at 17 °C then fermented at 25 °C for 14 days staying within 18 °C up to a high of 26 °C. The wine’s price-quality balance tips well in your favour.

Fresh and lively on the nose that showcases aromas of floral notes, grilled savory herbs, mixed spice and plenty of red and black cherry/berry fruit and black licorice. It’s medium-full bodied with good mouthfeel and a surge of delectable fruit on the palate with ripe mulberry, black Bing cherry and bramble berry adorned with crunchy pie cherry and passionfruit keeping this all in balance. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks at 28 °C and matured 12 months in oak barriques. The price-quality ratio is skewed well in your favour. Pick up a few.
