Alluring aromas of red and dark cherry/berry fruit mingle with cedar and floral notes. A delectable river of racy tang and ripe juicy fruit envelop the palate with red cherry and black currant interwoven with notions of mixed spice and dark mulberry. It’s nicely balanced, medium weight with good texture while the lingering, rich, dry finish is lip-smacking good. Pour with osso buco or chicken cacciatore. (Vic Harradine)
