This is a lovely Riesling that won’t disappoint. Aromas of tropical fruit and floral notes are precursors to a balanced and fruit-filled wash of melon, white peach and tangy lemon-lime. It’s light-medium bodied with good mouth feel and a lingering lip-smacking finish and aftertaste. This goes well with roasted rotisserie chicken or a deli plate of cold cuts and condiments. This single-vineyard gem bristles with nerve and verve showcasing a solid line of bright acidity. Aromas of flinty/minerality and green apple give way to myriad, small bubbles carrying lemon-lime tang and notions of passion fruit. Clean, dry and vibrant throughout, you won’t go wrong pouring with freshly shucked, briny oysters with condiments—fresh lemon, hot sauce, horseradish. (Vic Harradine)
