This estate-grown, 70% montepulciano/30% sangiovese red blend sports lifted aromas of baking spice, tarry notes and dark berry fruit. It envelops the palate with a medium-bodied, tang-laden river of red and black currant and red cherry. The dry finish and aftertaste are laden with palate-flavoured replays of fruit and tang, nicely showcased by lively flavour and good length. Pour alongside spaghetti Bolognese or pasta puttanesca.
