Costantino ‘Aria’ Catarratto 2018
IGT Terra Siciliane $14.95 12.0% alcohol
This is a lighter-styled, white wine sourced from 100% catarratto fruit—a grape that’s indigenous to Sicily. Lifted, alluring aromas of honeysuckle and lemony citrus notes precede a tasty, lively stream of flavour—lemon curd and pineapple—on the palate. This is light-medium textured with traces of white grapefruit pith on the tangy, lip-smacking finish. This sips wonderfully on its own and pairs well with pan-seared or grilled fish or shellfish. (Vic Harradine)

Costantino ‘Aria’ Grillo 2018
DOC Sicilia, Italy $15.95 12.0% alcohol
Floral notes and pit fruit—nectarine and yellow plum—aromas open this medium-bodied, nicely textured, value-packed gem. It dazzles the palate with a burst of racy tang—lemon-lime and ripe pineapple—that persists through the tang-infused finish and aftertaste along with chalky minerality The Grillo grape is native to Italy, but possibly not Sicily as it’s thought to have been brought to Sicily from Apulia. Pour with lemon chicken or grilled calamari. (Vic Harradine)

IGT Terra Siciliane, Italy $35.95 14.0% alcohol
Dark cherry/berry fruit and herbaceous notes on the nose give way to a tang-laden stream of lively, crunchy red fruit flavours—pie cherry and red currant—interwoven with pleasing dollops of dark chocolate and sweet vanilla.
