IGP Pays d'Oc, France $14.50 13.5% alcohol
Involved aromas of dark plum, spice box and earthy notes provide segue for a lighter-styled wash of stewed plum, mocha and red berry fruit on the palate adorned by cherry and blueberry on the mid-length aftertaste. It’s light-mid weight with a dry, aftertaste. Ratchets up a notch or two with comfort food, try pizza, wings or supermarket rotisserie chicken.
