AOC Côtes du Rhône-Villages $15.95 (200030) 14.0% alcohol
This blend of 70% grenache and 30% syrah is dark cherry in colour. Aromas of blackberry, strawberry, and vanilla are present on the nose. It is medium-full bodied on the palate with firm, but well-integrated tannins. Flavours of sour cherry and raspberry persist through the finish. It will keep in the cellar through to 2026. Pair with grilled rack of lamb. (Dave Isaacs)
