• The following Malivoire Wine Company ‘Moira Vineyard’ Chardonnay 2020 was manually picked from the north block on September 19th and 20th at 21.5 ° Brix average for the unfermented Chardonnay grapes. Grapes picked the first day were pressed in whole cluster, while those picked the 2nd day were destemmed first. The juice was fed into neutral French oak hogshead barrels. The wine completed primary and 100% malolactic fermentation and after nine months 122 cases were bottled unfiltered in July, 2021.

• The following Closson Chase ‘The Brock’ Chardonnay 2021 was destemmed and whole berry pressed with 50% fermented in French oak barrels that also went through 100% malolactic fermentation with the balance fermented in stainless steel without any malolactic fermentation, The chardonnay fruit was sourced 100% from the K. J Watson vineyard in Niagara, This wine is accredited Vegan-friendly by VegeCert. The un-fermented grape sugar was harvested October 4, 2021 at an average of 20.0 ° Brix.

Alluring aromas of ripe Bartlett pear, baking spice and notions of floral notes abound on the impressive nose of this balanced and beautiful chardonnay. A stream of persistent purity of fruit on the palate continue to and through the lip-smacking finish and the delightful, mouth-watering aftertaste of tang and plenty of pizzazz. This wine is accredited Vegan-friendly by VegeCert. The average grape sugars in the unfermented chardonnay fruit averaged 21.7 ° Brix during the 2021, October 8-11 harvest.

• The following Closson Chase ‘Vineyard’ Chardonnay 2021 was sourced from 2 estate vineyards with Churchside Vineyard contributing 25% and South Clos Vineyard contributing 75%. Between October 4 to 11, the average unfermented grape sugar was 21.5 ° Brix. Whole cluster pressed then fermented and aged in French oak barrels, less than 10% new.1300 cases were produced April 19, 2023. Drink now to 2026 with careful cellaring.

Palate flavours make their way with a gusher of tang and smooth and mellow mouthfeel of deft balance, purity of fruit and a monumentally long and appealing finish and aftertaste dominated by lemon, lime, minerality and; In a word… delicious. • The following wine was sourced entirely from the South Clos Estate vineyard and this wine is accredited Vegan-friendly by VegeCert. It was whole-cluster pressed then cool fermented in stainless steel at 14 ° C with no malolactic fermentation. The unfermented grapes came in at an average 20.1 ° Brix before being fermented at the winery in stainless steel tank and saw no oak barrels before bottling of 150 cases on March 21st, 2023.
