Meldville ‘First Edition’ Chardonnay 2015
VQA Lincoln Lakeshore $20.00 13.6% alcohol
Aromas of lemon, peach and pineapple are enhanced with subtle notes of acacia flower and butterscotch. Very little intervention and a slow, cool fermentation in French and Canadian oak barrel with lees aging contributes to this Chardonnay’s fresh fruit flavours and generous texture. Ripe red apple, nectarine and lemon pie with a hint of baking spices adorn the palate. This dry, medium-bodied white is round in texture with a balancing citrus mid-length finish. A delicious pairing with creamy seafood pasta or roasted chicken. (Lisa Isabelle)
Meldville ‘First Edition’ Sauvignon Blanc 2015
VQA Lincoln Lakeshore $20.00 13.6% alcohol

A slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel tank and time spent on its lees results in a dry, medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc with a medium-long, tangy finish and a subtle creamy texture. Serve on its own as an aperitif or with a goat cheese appetizer. (Lisa Isabelle)
