Well paced, well priced and well… delicious. After a light splash of water, perfumed aromas abound with abundant smoky notes mingling with piquant spice, herbs and buckwheat honey. It’s smooth, almost mellow on the palate with a replay of smoke interlaced with vanilla bean and wisps of salinity and crème brulée on the citrus-laced finish. My highest compliment—this was tough to spit. (Vic Harradine)

This has dark berry fruit and spice with toasty, smoky aromas on the nose. It washes over the palate with dark ripe cherry and ripe sweet mulberry fruit. It’s medium-plus bodied with good texture. This is an easy-going Shiraz showcasing very good flavour and depth. It lingers on the finish, balanced and fruit forward. (Vic Harradine)

Lilac, cedar, spice and herb aromas interweave portending a tapestry of flavour. A rich river of tang-laden flavour coats the palate with blackcurrant and dark juicy cherry to the fore, nicely balanced with red cherry and wisps of cranberry and red currant jelly. It’s mid-plus weight with great mouth feel and loads of racy flavour. It finishes with a soft tannin underpinning and lip-smacking tang—pours well with osso bucco. (Vic Harradine)
