Here you have a new vintage of this well-made Sangiovese from southern Tuscany. It has solid aromas and flavours of wild berries and dark plum, with smatterings of pepper and spice. If you're looking for a versatile red to go with pizza and tomato-based pasta, this will do very nicely. (RP)

This delivers solid flavours from front to back, with the dose of clean acidity you expect of Valpolicella. The flavours are ripe red cherry and berries, with a hint of spice, and there's a core of perceptible sweet fruit running right through. It's medium bodied and dry and goes very well with veal or chicken in a tomato-based sauce. (RP)
