• The following 2019 Bodega Argento ‘Selección’ Chardonnay was sourced from five different vineyards from East Mendoza to Uco Valley. It’s organic and Sustainable certified and all their wines are Vegan certified, as well. There’s barely a whisper of oak as it was stainless steel fermented with only 4% of wine touched by French oak staves of medium toast for only two months.

Bodega Argento ‘Selección’ Chardonnay 2019
Argentina $11.50 (591701) 13.0% alcohol
Aromas of tropical fruit and yellow peach drizzled with honey abound. It flows over the palate showcasing a creamy mouthfeel and a surge of flavours with piquant spice, racy citrus, and bracing minerality; it’s clean, crisp and refreshing. This is medium-full bodied with a lingering finish and aftertaste. It pours and sips beautifully on its own and also matches up well with grilled, pan-seared, smoked or oven-baked fish. The price-quality ratio skews well in your favour. (Vic Harradine)
