This fortified (16.5%) Port-like red would be the perfect foil to chunks of aged cheddar, parmigan reggiano or any 'death by chocolate' dessert. It offers a glorious nose of cinnamon, fig and dark ripe berry fruit. The texture is creamy and full-bodied with robust flavours of spiced black plum and bramble berry infused with sweet cassis.
