Delicate aromas of floral notes and red berry fruit interweave with bell pepper and graphite presaging a creamy smooth, tang-infused wash of ripe, juicy bramble berry and dark Bing cherry interwoven with wisps of pomegranate and savory spice. It’s medium bodied with good texture, balanced and brimming with cool-climate charm. Good to go now after a two-hour aeration/decant and on to 2019—pours well with spiced lamb burgers and root veggies. (Vic Harradine)
