Rich, robust and brimming with spice, mocha and dark berry fruit on the nose, this delivers a persistent wash of tangy, juicy black currant, blueberry and savoury-infused sour cherry on the palate and lingering aftertaste. It’s medium bodied, nicely textured with a solid underpinning of ripe supple tannin. Aerate/decant two hours and pour alongside grilled strip loin or rack of lamb. (Vic Harradine)
