Rich complex aromas rip from the glass of this well-structured generously textured beauty—black juicy Bing cherry, camphor and ripe boysenberry. It’s full bodied, richly textured and chockfull of delicious flavour with deep dark berry fruit and tangy black cherry to the fore. It received meticulous treatment—hand picked and 8 months in American and French oak. The finish lingers, but you shouldn’t as the word is out—this is divine. Delightful on its own, it pours well alongside grilled rack of lamb. (Vic Harradine)
