Aromatic and complex on the nose—aromas of black cherry/berry fruit juxtaposed with passion fruit and red currant robed in savoury herbs and piquant mixed spice and oodles of bramble berry. It envelops the palate with a river of black currant and black Bing cherry medium weight with good texture and smooth, mellow mouthfeel. It finishes crisp, clean and delicious. Pour with crispy wings, beef tortillas or burgers. (Vic Harradine)
