Sourced from low-yielding, 100% sangiovese, this iconic gem is considered one of Italy’s top reds. Cedar, cassis and briary berry fruit aromas abound on the alluring nose. It explodes on the palate with a full-bodied, fully textured gusher of black Bing cherry, mocha, black licorice and oodles of racy, tang and minerality interwoven with piquant spice and drying tannin.
