Liquid gold from one of Niagara’s premium, family-owned Riesling producers, it’s their first Riesling icewine. Fabulous and in limited supply; only 25 cases produced. Buckwheat honey, grilled pineapple and wisps of truffle on the nose, it bathes the palate with a glorious gusher of treacle-coated nectarine and lemon yoghurt garnished with good acidity. This is creamy, dreamy, fully flavoured and textured, balanced and beautiful. Not cloying, the warming, monumental finish is stunning. (Vic Harradine)
