Fruit for this was sourced from the Redfoot vineyard spending 10 months maturing in French oak barrels before bottling. Lifted aromas of orchard fruit, pineapple and honeysuckle are precursor to a flavourful wash of ripe peach, red apple, honey and ginger on the palate. Dry, medium-full bodied with a creamy texture, suggestions of orchard fruit and piquant spice persist through the lengthy finish. Pour with pan-seared white fish topped with fresh mango salsa. This appealing cabernet franc matured 18 months in French oak barrels prior to bottling. It combines ripe dark fruit aromas garnished with notes of tomato leaf, graphite and cloves.
