VQA Beamsville Bench $29.95 14.5% alcohol

The lingering finish replays palate flavours, balanced and beautiful and aftertaste is dry and mouth-watering. (Vic Harradine)

  • The following ‘La Penna’ pressed off desiccated Cabernet Franc in traditional ‘Appassimento’ style; grapes were air-dried naturally for three weeks in a barn removing approximately one-third of the water from the grapes serving to enhance flavour and texture. After fermentation the wine was aged three years in once-used French oak barrel, new Hungarian and American oak, plus seasoned American oak.
