There are lovely evocative aromas here—fresh red fruits, sweet spice and a touch of red licorice. Dry and medium bodied, this is a lively wine with velvety texture, harmonious balance and pleasant nuances of well-integrated oak. The ripe tangy fruit is concentrated; there’s a whiff of dried berries and chocolate while a pleasing hint of bitterness persists through the warm finish.
